Creation Fest

For a whole week I was sorrounded by total Jesus freaks (for the most part) and it was utterly amazing. A camping site filled with over 70,000 teenagers who thirst for the word of God, and who where not afraid to make it obvious. It was as if everyone I ran into radiated a love for our creator...nothing I had ever seen before. And now that I'm back home I cant help but recall how new everything was to me. Ranging from the bands that at a glance looked nothing close to christian music, but surprisingly enough sang lyrics of worship and praise to our mighty God, to all kinds of charities that sought to end world hunger and war through God's mercy and love. It felt great to know that people all over America still follow Jesus Christ, want to be more like him and continue celebrating our Creator through a Festival that unites many denominations under the same cause; we have an Amazing God. And though we try to push him out of our lives, expell him from our schools, erase him from our government, our God is alive and more than ever.
